I was a very active child and a competitive athlete into my twenties. For most of my life, I have enjoyed participating in soccer, basketball and baseball. I now enjoy doing just about anything in the great outdoors: playing golf, hiking, camping and traveling the world with my beautiful family.
My path to chiropractic began in college as I pursued a degree in Sports Medicine at Fresno State. My plan was to finish my degree and follow with a career as a physician assistant or MD in the field of orthopedics. In my last year of school I ruptured a disc in my low back. After being told by two neurosurgeons that I would definitely require surgery to alleviate my pain, I sought treatment from a chiropractor. Within a handful of treatments he had me virtually pain free.
I knew then that my path must change and later enrolled at Palmer College of Chiropractic West in San Jose, California. There I graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors and as Valedictorian of my class. I was also honored with Clinical Excellence, Virgil V. Strang Philosophy, and Student Fellowship awards.
My passions include: Life, my family, my patients and my practice.
